“I thoroughly enjoyed working on the problem statements, which provided an engaging and thought provoking exploration on Reactive Smart Contracts. The experience sparked innovative thinking, allowing me to approach challenges from unique angles and develop novel solutions. I appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow, and I am grateful for the experience. Overall, it was a valuable and rewarding challenge that I am happy to have undertaken. Special thanks to the Reactive Network community for their immense support throughout the process.”
// Prakhar-30“It is really impressive how easy it is to start using Reactive Network. While technology itself can provide cost-effective solutions for time-sensitive tasks, all you really need is basic knowledge of Solidity. Documentation is clear and on point, and any questions you might have will be almost instantly answered by Reactive staff or developer community. If you see any appliance of this tech in your routine – give it a try.”
// etchedheadplate“There are many other use cases. A lot more is going to be unlocked with this protocol.”
// Maniveer007Anyone from anywhere in the world is welcome to participate. However, participants who violate the Rules or Code of Conduct may be disqualified. Note that external websites used as part of the hackathon may have specific country-related restrictions. Please refer to the rules and regulations on DoraHacks, our project submission platform, once it's live for more details.
Participation is completely free. There are no costs involved.
Teams can consist of 1 to 5 participants.
No problem at all! While having some programming experience is beneficial, it's not required. We will offer talks, workshops, and mentors to guide you through your project. This hackathon is a fantastic opportunity to learn about blockchain and smart contracts.
You can start as soon as the hackathon opens on 9th September 2024. To ensure fairness, we do not allow teams to start building before the hackathon begins. If your project is an upgrade to an existing one, it must not have any on-chain components prior to the start
The Reactive Network is a fully EVM-compatible execution layer that enables developers to create the next wave of dApps using Reactive Smart Contracts. These contracts use Inversion-of-Control for the transaction lifecycle, driven by data flows across blockchain ecosystems rather than user input, allowing for more dynamic and autonomous interactions. To participate, it's beneficial to know Solidity, as our Reactive Smart Contracts are customized for this language. However, familiarity with other EVM-compatible languages can also be helpful.
Participants can choose any topic that leverages the power of the Reactive Network. We encourage projects that explore innovative and practical use cases, such as DeFi applications, supply chain solutions, or blockchain gaming. Learn more
Projects will be evaluated based on utility, ease of use, technical sophistication, and innovation. The evaluation will be conducted by a panel of experts from the Reactive Network core team and other renowned blockchain professionals. Learn more
After the hackathon, successful projects will have the opportunity to apply for our grants program to receive further funding and support. Learn more
